Hey there, I’m Olga Barinova and I’m a children’s book illustrator! I’m a proud graduate of AU Arts, with a Bachelor’s degree in Design, and my major is illustration. I love stories that address themes of diversity, inclusivity, nature, and education. When it comes to my illustrations, I’m all about the digital world and using bright and vibrant colour palettes. My style is playful and whimsical, it captures the charm and innocence of childhood. I’m always up for a challenge, so I love drawing people, animals, and plants and adding fun details and textures to bring them to life. I also take inspiration from animated films, so I love playing around with colour and light. If you’re curious, some of the books I’ve previously illustrated include Buckle Up by Stephanie Scott, Maxy Survives the Hurricane by Ricia Chansky, and Bear in the Family by Eric Walters.
